Govardhan Asrani career:

Asrani was born into a Hindu middle class Sindhi family. His father emigrated to Jaipur after the partition of India and opened a shop that sold carpets. She has four sisters and three siblings: two older and one younger. Asrani was highly disinterested in business and very weak in math. He completed his enrollment at St. 

Xaviers School and did his graduation from Rajasthan College, Jaipur. She simultaneously worked as a voice artist at All India Radio, Jaipur, to pay for her education. His ultimate goal was to become an actor.

He began to learn to act from Sahitya Kalbhai Thakkar from 1960 to 1962. In 1962, he traveled to Bombay (now Mumbai) and began looking for opportunities to act. In 1963, in an accidental meeting with Kishore Sahu and Hrishikesh Mukherjee, they advised him to learn to act professionally.
