Tulip Joshi has always been athletics and wants to do a career in the same area. She appeared in the tribute video "Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera Dholna". Tulip Joshi is friends with the ex wife of director Aditya Chopra. 

Yash Chopra noticed her during the marriage of Aditya Chopra and offered her "Mother Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai". His father is from Gujarati and his mother is from Armenian origin.  She was not good in India, but she taught Hindi with Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil to work in films.
