She was inspired by her aunt Sadhana, so she decided to become an actress. Sadhna and Babita never spoke to each other because of familiar problems. Babita Kapoor has played in more than 19 films with almost all the great stars of that time during a short but successful career.

Initially Raaz 1967 was the first film of Babita and Rajesh Khanna, but his film Dus Lakh 1967 left for Raaz and finally the film became more successful than Raaz. The most successful film of his career is Farz 1967, opposite.

She left the theater at the height of her career after she married her boyfriend, because her family did not like her to have worked in the cinema after the wedding. The latest film of Babita was Kal Aaj Aur Kal 1971.

She worked in the film with her future husband, her grandfather, late Raj Kapoor, and her deceased grandfather, Prithvi Raj Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor was intentionally signed Babita for Kal Aaj Aur Kal with his father and grandfather to convince them of his marriage.

Because she was not sure about the family of Randhir Kapoor, if they accepted her, she gave him the ultimatum to marry or break that relationship before February 1971. Interestingly, Randhir could marry her for the moment. Randhir Kapoor became alcoholic as a result of a failure in the film.

His dependence and timid behavior led to the separation of Babita and Randhir Kapoor in 1988. However, they never divorced and participate as a couple in all family activities. Despite the reluctance of her family, Babita was the first of all the women in the family who chose their daughters as a career.
